Walk & To Do List: April 8, 2010

It was a cool-ish day today. I decided that because of that and the fact that I have the start of a cold, I would take a very short walk. I needed some groceries so I walked to the grocery store near by. On the way I picked up a lovely decaf breve at my local coffee shop. I feel that a breve makes everything better.

I worked a bit on number two of my To Do List. I picked up some potting soil and I planted some pansies. I know that I should dead head them, but I just couldn't bring myself to do it. Maybe tomorrow...

In the pictures you can see the cute little bunch of clovers I found on the way to the store, a quick shot of my beloved breve and the pansies I planted this afternoon. 

To Do List: #8 Done

All of the items that I put on Freecycle are off to their new homes. This is great! Now I just need to find more items to give away! As far as the rest of the list goes, I have not worked on it. Maybe this afternoon I will work in the yard. I will have to see how my knee is feeling.

To Do List: One Down

I have completed number eight on my To Do List. I have listed a suitcase, a bassinet and a highchair on Freecycle. Why do we have a bassinet and a highchair? They were my nephews. The bassinet and suitcase have been reserved, but no one seems to want the highchair. It is from the 1950's, so it does not meet safety standards for a baby now. (Yes, my nephew used it in the last five years, but it was not his main highchair.) It is cute though and would make an interesting display for the right person. Oh well, maybe I will have to keep looking for that person!

To Do List

I have a growing "To Do" list and I thought I might monitor my progress on it here.

1. Clear old dead plants and small trees from yard.
2. Start plants for the garden.
3. Refinish dresser.
4. Clear/clean basement.
5. Set up Rodney's office in basement.
6. Clean out my and paint my new office space (ummm...that would be Rodney's old office...yes, I am moving him to the basement)
7. Look into making garden containers/Make garden containers.
8. Post items to be given away on Freecycle.
